Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer at John Deere in Moline, IL, you will be a key member of the delivery team to provide Dealer Master Data and technical solutions to support Dealer Master Data for the enterprise. In addition, you will;

• Serve as a Dealer Master Data tool and data expert to consult on solutions with both IT and the business for existing and future technologies and processes
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of technical specifications for Dealer Master Data including enhancements, support and projects
• Work with local and remote resources to complete work activity
• Help to assess the global systems and data impact of proposed business process changes

What Skills You Need

• 10+ years of technical experience in programming/software development in SAP
• 3+ years of previous SAP Techno-functional and development experience in ABAP in core SAP Modules like MDG, MM, SD and S4HANA
• 3+ years of demonstrated technical experience in at least two of the following: SAP MDG, Dealer Master Data, AccountFlex, Dealer Family, HANA, Java, AWS, ETL, Host, Enterprise Data Lake
• Advanced experience in an applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
• 3+ years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of applications of high complexity

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with Master Data Management, MDM applications and/or infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience researching SAP new technologies and technologies trends etc. Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Database, Operating Systems
• Experience designing and utilizing REST APIs
• Experience in programming/software development with AccountFlex, SAP, HANA and/or SAP
• 7+ years of implementation of major software programs which involve change in process -1+ years of experience delivering in an Agile/Scrum team environment

Education (or equivalent work experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
