Responsibilities

Summary: This position is responsible for supporting and extending the functionality of our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP software by interpreting and creating software that meets our business users’ requirements. This person may also coordinate and/or mentor the activities of other developers. In addition to working with a team of possible offsite consultant developer resources, this person will function as one of our key onsite, hands-on developers. Primary Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide technical support for all modules within Oracle E-business Suite – Financials, Supply chain, Order Management, ASCP
  • Build PL/SQL programs as needed and defined by the business units
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical problems within Oracle
  • Lead and coach other development team members
  • Build workflows as additional requirements arise within the application
  • Analyze, recommend, and test Oracle patches if needed
  • Work with Oracle support to resolve outstanding issues
  • Review development processes and standards and be able to recommend
  • Ensure that development follows established procedures and architecture decisions
  • Research and assist functional teams in supporting Oracle standard functionality
  • Occasionally coordinate multiple developers working on the same project
  • Maintain an awareness of the latest application development trends and determine how to integrate those into the ADS environment when they could provide a competitive advantage
  • Perform all duties in a manner consistent with ADS’s core values


Job Skills:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • 10+ years of Oracle EBS Development experience
  • Experience analyzing business requirements to create effective applications
  • Experience with EBS 12.2 or later
  • Extensive PL/SQL knowledge
  • Experience in Oracle Reports with XML Publisher
  • Experience customizing and creating Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow
  • Experience using source code control system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Oracle AME, AOL, XLA Reporting


Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s or associate degree with preferred major in Business or Information Technology


Preferred Experience:

  • Ticketing Processes
  • Cloud Development Experience – HCM, Middleware
  • Certification in Oracle or Oracle EBS
  • Java & OA Framework Development, Personalization
