L3 ComCept is located in Rockwall, Texas just 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Dallas. We are a results driven organization with an “employee-first” mindset, focused on innovation and delivery of quality products and services to our customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving activities within a central warehouse, such as inventory control, material handling and movement, stocking, warehouse maintenance, material disposal, material contract close-outs, maintaining task required documentation and team work
- Use a computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting activities
- Follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, and schedule requirements
- Receive incoming materials
- Unpack/pack and unwrap/wrap items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
- Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications
- Log receipt of items on a computer system, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents
- Reports materials shipped and bills of lading
- Posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations
- Performs cyclic inventory counts and performs inventory audits as part of warehouse duties
- Prepares materials for shipment
- Implementation and continuous use of DOD Guidelines such as MIL- STD 130, Item Unique Identification Government Property Guide, Reporting Property in the possession of a contractor, and the Federal and Defense Acquisition Regulations

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- High School Diploma/ GED with 0+ years of experience
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional environment
- Very detail oriented
- Knowledge of logistics and familiarity with its impact on engineering, production, and planning
- Ability to selectively apply logistics practices and procedures to improve processes
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds multiple times per week (with or without accommodation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with or without accommodation)
- Required to constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Often required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Required to operate a stand up forklift
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree
- Logistics and Material Management experience
- Experience working with Government contracts
- Forklift experience
