Job Summary
Generates complex ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and databases, generates data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May require complex regulatory reporting, management reporting, data integrity, mentoring other analysts in the group and ad hoc performance analyses that require significant critical thinking and an expert level of data blending. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and requests. Creates technical solutions to address business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Actively engages extended team to drive organizational reporting strategy. Provides consultation and recommendations to users based on business data and market knowledge to address business issues.
  • Regulatory reporting on both state and federal level
  • Advanced managerial reporting including both acquisition activity and customer retention with a focus on churn prevention
  • Ad-hoc analyses projects where each project is highly unique and requires a thorough understanding of business operations and the financial implications
  • Interfacing with various cross-brand functional departments including; IT, Finance, Care and Sales

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
  • Five years reporting/data analysis experience
  • Five years experience with query languages (such as SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years experience with report delivery through SQL SSRS or web presentation
  • Advanced technical expertise coding in SQL, SAS, and experience with either Alteryx or Microstrategy
  • Advanced ETL experience
  • Extensive experience reporting of both customer acquisition and retention
