General Purpose:

Under the direction of their manager serves as support to the senior trading staff for Money Market, Corporate, Municipal, FX and Public Structured Securities.

Major Functions:

• Provides support for all trades on the trading desk from time of execution to actual delivery. Enters trades and verifies trade details from execution to delivery.
• Creates reports that monitor overall asset class exposures and sensitivities using technical investment tools such as COMET, DIVER, CIM IQ, Bloomberg, etc.
• Provides support for traders, including back-up responsibility for junior Money Market Trader.
• Responsible for desk operations including procedures, distributions, volumes and external services.
• Interface with “the street” in such a manner as to maintain the professional image of Cigna Investment Management.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications for Analyst - Trading Assistant Level:

• Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting or related discipline
• Prior investment experience or relevant business experience - internships will be recognized
• CFA track will be required.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Diver, etc.); ability to automate workflow.
• Strong quantitative background

• Must be willing to work overtime if needed
