Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position manages labor forecasts, including administration of the labor forecasting tool. Collects data, prepares and analyzes metrics, and formats them for review. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures. The planner must be able to master a variety of tools to gather project data, communicate effectively with a large group of engineers, and produce presentations for director level review.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring engineering performance metrics across multiple programs and advising management on status of the work in progress.
• Supports management in proposal preparation and manpower forecasting.
• Support collection and analysis of metrics related to engineering performance, along with associated process improvements.
• Meets company specified goals flowed down from executive management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Candidates for this position should be self-starting, able to work in a team environment, and possess excellent organization skills.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
